 Many of my closest friends would describe me as somewhat of a professional movie watcher…

NO, that doesn’t mean I sit around watching movies all day, it just simply means I tend to watch a few more movies than the average person. Unfortunately for me, I do not make an income watching movies. Although, I do gain something that I believe to be MUCH more valuable than money.

Not only can you gain valuable knowledge from certain movies but you can also receive something deeper known as inspiring chills! These are the kinds of movies that will inspire you to GET UP and GO! They bring unexpected goosebumps that enlighten your body and mind with profound ideas! These movies inspiring success will always lift you up and never get boring to watch over again. I hope that you all enjoy this list of 11 Movies Inspiring Success and I know that you will gain from them because I have.

1. The Social Network

I have seen “The Social Network” many times and it seems that I learn something new each time I watch this entrepreneurial movie. In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, he is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but Zuckerberg finds that his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend (Andrew Garfield).

Movies Inspiring Success like this movie are truly incredible and inspiring to all entrepreneurs out there. If you are an entrepreneur and have not seen this masterpiece, then I will highly recommend that you take some time out of your day to watch it!

 

 

2. Coach Carter

In 1999, Ken Carter (Samuel L. Jackson) returns to his old high school in Richmond, California, to get the basketball team into shape. With tough rules and academic discipline, he succeeds in setting the players on a winning streak. But when their grades start to suffer, Carter locks them out of the gym and shuts down their championship season. When he is criticized by the players and their parents, he sticks to his guns, determined that they excel in class as well as on the court.

This amazing movie educated me on the power of team work and how we have to push people out of their comfort zone in order for them to grow and succeed. I grew up playing basketball and I know that you can acquire a lot of knowledge about life through the beautiful sport of basketball. I absolutely loved this movie and I cannot wait for you all to get inspired like I did the first time I viewed it. If you do not believe me, then watch this movie to find out yourself!

 

 

3. The Blind Side

Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband, Sean (Tim McGraw), take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael’s legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs. Michael’s tremendous size and protective instincts make him a formidable force on the gridiron, and with help from his new family and devoted tutor, he realizes his potential as a student and football player.

This true story movie has inspired millions of young kids across the world! The blind side teaches kids that no matter what background or past you come from, you can still do great things and become as successful as you want to be. I had an amazing experience with this movie and am excited for you all to watch it, enjoy!

 

 

4. Limitless

Facing unemployment and his girlfriend’s rejection, writer Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is sure that he has no future. That all changes when an old friend gives him a drug that produces enhanced mental acuity. Stoked on the untested chemical, Eddie rises to the top of the financial world and attracts the attention of a tycoon (Robert De Niro) who intends to use him to make a fortune. But terrible side-effects and a dwindling supply threaten to collapse Eddie’s house of cards.

Limitless was an inspiring movie that kept me interested throughout. I hope you all find the time to watch this masterpiece and enjoy! 🙂

 

5. The Wolf of Wall Street

In 1987, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) takes an entry-level job at a Wall Street brokerage firm. By the early 1990s, while still in his 20s, Belfort founds his own firm, Stratton Oakmont. Together with his trusted lieutenant (Jonah Hill) and a merry band of brokers, Belfort makes a huge fortune by defrauding wealthy investors out of millions. However, while Belfort and his cronies partake in a hedonistic brew of sex, drugs and thrills, the SEC and the FBI close in on his empire of excess.

6. Good Will Hunting

Will Hunting (Matt Damon) has a genius-level IQ but chooses to work as a janitor at MIT. When he solves a difficult graduate-level math problem, his talents are discovered by Professor Gerald Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgard), who decides to help the misguided youth reach his potential. When Will is arrested for attacking a police officer, Professor Lambeau makes a deal to get leniency for him if he will get treatment from therapist Sean Maguire (Robin Williams).

 

 

7. The Karate Kid

Daniel (Ralph Macchio) moves to Southern California with his mother, Lucille (Randee Heller), but quickly finds himself the target of a group of bullies who study karate at the Cobra Kai dojo. Fortunately, Daniel befriends Mr. Miyagi (Noriyuki “Pat” Morita), an unassuming repairman who just happens to be a martial arts master himself. Miyagi takes Daniel under his wing, training him in a more compassionate form of karate and preparing him to compete against the brutal Cobra Kai.

A dedicated teacher (Hilary Swank) in a racially divided Los Angeles school has a class of at-risk teenagers deemed incapable of learning. Instead of giving up, she inspires her students to take an interest in their education and planning their future. She assigns reading material that relates to their lives and encourages them all to keep journals.

 

 

10. 8 mile

The people of Detroit know 8 Mile as the city limit, a border, a boundary. It is also a psychological dividing line that separates Jimmy Smith Jr. (Eminem) from where and who he wants to be. A provocative fictional examination of a critical week in Jimmy’s life.

 

 

11. The Pursuit of Happyness

Life is a struggle for single father Chris Gardner (Will Smith). Evicted from their apartment, he and his young son (Jaden Christopher Syre Smith) find themselves alone with no place to go. Even though Chris eventually lands a job as an intern at a prestigious brokerage firm, the position pays no money. The pair must live in shelters and endure many hardships, but Chris refuses to give in to despair as he struggles to create a better life for himself and his son.

This is my favorite movie!!! The Pursuit of Happyness has truly changed my life for the better and has changed the lives of everyone who watches it. Enjoy 🙂
