“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” –Nelson Mandela
We are here to inspire, motivate, and empower you in the pursuit of your passions and dreams. This blog post will be introducing you to several inspiring books billionaires read to become successful! “An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest” –Benjamin Franklin
I have never been fond of reading any kind of book or text since I was a kid in the first grade at Englewood Elementary! Reading can be somewhat dreadful at times, especially when the material you are reading is drier than the Western Desert of Egypt and you can’t help but pass out into a coma of Z’s.
Despite my hate for reading, I LOVE TO LEARN! Yes, I said it. I enjoy educating myself with a passion and I believe everyone else should too! Reading and learning are two dissimilar things but, in order to learn, you must be able to read or even just listen to someone reading. There are so many various ways to learn and that is what makes learning truly remarkable! Learning is the number one BEST investment an individual can easily create for themselves. This is a fact and it can be evidenced by some of the most successful people in the world.
Now Are You Ready?! Ready for Inspiring Books Billionaires Read ?

1.The Power of Positive Thinking – by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
Despite this book being written in the 50’s, the concepts it contains stay relevant to this day about the mental attitude and how one can use it to accomplish anything. If you are unfamiliar with the Law of Attraction, then you are going to want to read this book! The Power of Positive Thinking will teach you that the origins of success that lie in the mind and show you how to believe in yourself, abolish the habit of worrying and stressing, and take governance of your life by taking control of your thoughts and changing your attitude.
I used to be a highly stressed individual, worrying about every little thing. I would worry about my exams, papers, anything school related really. I would stress over family issues, and I would worry about my finances almost every single day. I wondered how I was going to make enough money to help my mom out with bills and pay my own rent. It would get so f**king bad that I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night because my mind would race for hours worrying about every tiny problem. That was a dark time in my life that I wish to never go back to. I discovered this book on Amazon one day when I was searching for the next book I was going to read that week. I’m telling you, when I first picked up this book and actually began reading, I felt the inspiring chills. It was like something spiritual had zipped through my pores and bestowed me with a feeling of enlightenment. It was weird, but I liked it!
After the completion of the book, my entire mindset changed! Instead of worrying about stupid problems, my mind thought about positive outcomes which empowered me to solve those problems in the most innovative ways that I have never experienced prior to reading The Power of Positive Thinking. I am grateful to Norman Vincent Peale for writing this book because it really has changed my life for the better. If you don’t want to read this book, that’s fine. But, if you want to change your life in the most positive and enlightening way, then you MUST read The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale.
One of my favorite quotes from the book!
“The way to happiness: Keep your heart free from hate, your mind from worry. Live simply, expect little, give much. Scatter sunshine, forget self, think of others. Try this for a week and you will be surprised.” -Norman Vincent Peale.

I actually just finished reading this book about a week ago and it has become one of the most treasured books that I have read. This book really does shape you into a “BADASS” because it educates you on how to recognize and do away with self-sabotaging behaviors and beliefs. Jen Sincero is a successful author with many bestselling novels and she is a success coach who has aided an uncountable amount of people to transform their personal and professional lives. This awesome book is full of hilariously inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises, and the occasional swear word, helping you to: Create a life you totally love, create it NOW, and make some damn money already. The kind you’ve never made before. With the completion of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t alter, how to change what you don’t love, and how to practice The Force to kick some serious ass. 6. Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini
I actually launched my blog almost immediately after reading this influential book. I was inspired by the knowledge that Robert Cialdini included in this amazing novel. The book focuses on why people say “yes” to a request and how you can persuade people to say “yes” to your requests but in the most ethical way possible. This is a very beneficial book for anyone and may be even more beneficial to people pursuing a marketing or business career. You must focus on being ethical when implementing the valuable knowledge learned from this book or else it WILL NOT WORK. Enjoy it, I know I did! 🙂
“Robert Cialdini (the author) has had a greater impact on my thinking than any other scientists. This book demonstrates six to eight ways in which the quirks of your own mind will frequently prove dysfunctional to your best interests.” -Charlie Munger

7. Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain
In the book “Quiet”, Susan discovered the deliberate rise of the extrovert ideal in the public and American workplace. Her awesome book is packed with wisdom about personality types, workplace relationships and human interaction. I truly appreciated reading this book because it permitted me to develop the capabilities to think like a wise introverted person at any given time I believed to be appropriate. Susan Cain claims that modern Western culture misunderstands and undervalues the traits and capabilities of introverted people; she argues that this will lead to “a colossal waste of talent, energy, and happiness.” I highly recommend any introvert or extrovert to read this book! Extroverts should educate themselves with this book so that they may fully understand why introverts behave and act in the way they do. Enjoy, my remarkable people!
My favorite quote from the book “Quiet”!
8. Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us by Daniel H. Pink
Last but not least, Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us is another excellent book that has educated me on the subject of motivation. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Daniel Pink because of this book and his famous TED Talk on the Puzzle of Motivation. This very educating book goes deep into the concept of rewards and how in most business circumstances do not work to improve production. Pink mentions that individuals are much more motivated by internal factors than by external drivers. As soon as basic financial requirements are met, people are a lot more driven by having a desire for Mastery for themselves. This motivates them with a sense of Autonomy/self-direction on the road to a driving Purpose. The author of this book attests, with scientific evidence, that rewards such as money actually kill intrinsic motivation and creativity. I highly recommend everyone interested in the business field to sit down and really study this book. After you read it and understand its vital concepts, your success in the business world will be certain. I really hope you take away the valuable knowledge from this book and more importantly, enjoy it! 🙂
“For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself.” –Victor Frankel
